I’m a forty-something mum with an eleven year old son, Jamie. We live in Somerset, in the south-west of England. I enjoy reading, walking and the internet. Jamie likes Pokemon, Moshi Monsters and Wii games.
I plan to use this site to write about books, not proper reviews because I’m not sure how to do them, but whether I like the book or not. I read for enjoyment, not to look for sentence structure and symbolic representations! I read a variety of books, but mainly light stuff. I don’t like too much blood and gore, and don’t like to have to think too hard about what’s happening to make sense of it. I like romance, family stories, mystery stories and some thrillers.
